Delivery, Shipping and Returns

Yes, we ship worldwide. We are working towards giving the opportunity to anyone who would like to experience our products, no matter where you live. We charge standard shipping cost for any delivery outside of Australia and New Zealand. Standard shipping cost will be added at checkout, after shipping country has been chosen.

We are working towards giving the opportunity to anyone who would like to experience our products, no matter where you live. We charge standard shipping cost for any delivery outside of Australia and New Zealand. Standard shipping cost will be added at checkout, after shipping country has been chosen.

All orders that are placed on weekdays are shipped within 48 hours. Orders placed on holidays or weekends will be processed the next business day.

We have tie up with all major service providers and the allocation is based on the location and fastest service provider to that location.

At present, Australia (incl Tasmania) wide shipping is free.  For all other international shipping destinations including New Zealand, we charge shipping rates as quoted by the respective service provider.

We will send you an order tracking number to your email ID provided during purchase, once product is shipped from our warehouse. Kindly use the order tracking number to view the status of the package on below websites –

Once the package has been shipped from our warehouse, unfortunately you cannot cancel the shipment. Your option is to return the package as it is as per our Return Policy.

If you are cancelling your order before we have shipped your product, then we will refund your full amount.

You have the option to return the product under below two scenarios –

  1. Change of mind
  2. Damaged product

Claims & Warranty

You should let us know immediately within first seven days of receiving the product by emailing us at support@davidandshaw.com.au with the images of the damaged part of the product. We will let you know on next steps within 24 hrs of receiving the email your email. Please refer to Return Policy section for further details on return of damaged product.

Each David and Shaw product carries 6 months limited factory warranty.

This guarantee comes into effect from the date of purchase, as stated on the receipt. Any replacement of a David and Shaw product under this warranty does not extend the warranty period. Date of original purchase is still valid. 

This guarantee adds benefits which are additional to your rights as a consumer. In order for the warranty to be used in relation to replacements or repairs, David and Shaw first needs to see your proof of purchase, i.e. the receipt you have received upon purchase, followed by image of the damaged material.

All David and Shaw products are fully guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship. The guarantee does not cover product damages that may have resulted from abnormal wear and tear, accidental damage caused by user, faults as a result of wilful or negligent operation, or any other handling. 

General Queries

We accept international payments with credit cards VISA, MasterCard and American Express. On-site credit card payments are processed via payment provider Stripe

After you have completed a purchase, you will receive an order confirmation and receipt by email.

Please check your spam folder if you did not receive any confirmation email as it might have got stuck there. If you still cannot find any confirmation email, please contact us at support@davidandshaw.com.au . We will investigate and come back to you at the earliest. You will also receive a printed receipt in the package delivered with your products.

Please note that your order tracking number will be sent later in a separate email after the order has been dispatched from our warehouse.

Generally, there is no need to treat the leather of our products in any way. However, you may want to remove any small stains or dust marks on your product with time and use. If so, very gently wipe the leather with a damp cloth. Let it dry flat. Never dry clean, bleach, iron, tumble dry or twist the leather product. Avoid any exposure to extreme heat and damp.

If you want to use any leather soap, balm or oils – this is something that you can do on your own risk. We provide a limited warranty on our products, but not for any misuse such as incorrect treating of the product.
